Local Technical Advice
In
the initial stages of any project, correct design and specification advice is essential.
This
not only ensures the correct system is specified for the project, but also ensures that interfaces with
other products and systems are considered. This is the role of the local Sarnafil Technical Adviser
and the first step for a project if it is to benefit from the Sarnafil Quality Management System.
The
Sarnafil Technical Adviser will sit down with the specifier and discuss a project’s design, aesthetic,
environmental and programme requirements, review project drawings and/or visit a site, before producing
a detailed written Sarnafil specification and/or NBS format specification. Upon request, this
specification can be supported by technical literature, standard details and, where required, budget
or accurate pricing from a Sarnafil Registered Contractor.
Following
consultation, the processing of the detailed specification will follow the Sarnafil Quality Management
System and pass to the Technical Services Department for checking, prior to being issued to the specifier
in paper and/or electronic format. Responsibility for the project remains in the hands of the
Technical Adviser until the project reaches site.
