RIBA awards Sarnafil ‘Core Curriculum’ status
In
recognition of Sarnafil’s key role in the delivery of quality CPD, the RIBA has awarded the company
RIBA CPD core curriculum status. Since becoming members of the RIBA CPD Providers Network in 1997 Sarnafil have become the most prolific
RIBA CPD provider, delivering in excess of 160 seminars annually to both architects and construction
professionals.

New literature aims to raise market standards

first elements of the new Sarnafil literature suite are now available. This new suite has been
developed over the past 12 months and has been designed to help clients, specifiers and contractors
clearly understand the difference between the products and services provided by Sarnafil and those offered
by other roofing system suppliers.

Sarnafil at the Scottish Exhibition and Conference Centre
In
October Roof Management contractor Topek BUR Ltd started the largest Sarnafil Roof Management project
to date; re-roofing of the 18,000m² main hall at the SECC in Glasgow. Unlike previous Roof Management
projects the SECC project differs significantly in being the first over-roof of a failed metal roofing
system.

Sarnafil’s “Wear it Pink Day” is flushed with success.
A
rose coloured haze descended on the Sarnafil offices in Norwich on Friday 27th October, as staff replaced
their traditional office clothing slightly more exotically hued garb. From pastel pink wellington boots
to a neon – fuschia, haute couture cardigan, Sarnafil staff displayed the results of their raided wardrobes
in aid of “Wear it Pink “ day.

Institute of Roofing’s Student of the Year
Martin
Bidewell, Technical Office Manager at Sarnafil Ltd, was awarded Student of the Year at the Institute
of Roofing’s AGM on the 18th October 2006, receiving a certificate, trophy and a cheque for £250.
