Accessory Products
The ability of a roofing system to perform as it is designed is affected by many factors.
Those principally considered are the performance of the primary waterproofing and the quality of the installation. However, every roofing ‘system’ is made up of a wide variety of components brought together to produce a finished product, much like a car. Like a car, the various components used to complete a roof can be broken down into main groups, such as Ancillary Products and Accessory Products.
Within the Sarnafil website, Ancillary Products are products that provide a key function within the roof design. Accessory Products are those which, while providing an important function, do not necessarily affect the performance of the roof.
With so many critical products in both the 'Ancillary Products' and 'Accessory Products' categories, why do so many membrane manufacturers/suppliers leave decisions regarding product compatibility, interface and guarantee to a third party? For example, the specifier, which leaves them with a risk of incompatible components and guarantee liability split between many parties.
Sarnafil’s philosophy is to take the risk away from the specifier and provide a range of tested, compatible components, any or all of which can be covered by a single source guarantee.
This enables the specifier to choose from a simple waterproofing system guarantee, all the way up to an Extended Products Guarantee - covering everything from the structure upwards or any combination in between. These are brought to market either directly by Sarnafil Ltd, or through unique branded product supply chain agreements that the Sarnafil guarantee can cover.
