G445
Sarnafil G445 is a protection sheet primarily for use as a protective or sacrificial layer on top of the Sarnafil waterproofing membranes in inverted ballasted roofing systems and under site cast concrete pads.
Sarnafil G445 has a beige surface colour, enabling easy distinction from Sarnafil membranes. The underside is coloured dark grey, to assist identification during installation.

 |
While providing good mechanical strength, Sarnafil G445 is pliant and easy to work with. It has limited UV-resistance and must not be exposed to the elements on the finished roof.
|
Installation is normally by loose laying, with the joining method chosen according to the expected stresses:
- Low stress - overlap the sheets by 50 mm and adhere with Sarnacol 2170
- Medium Stress - overlap the sheets by 50 mm and bond with adhesive tape
- High Stress - overlap the sheets by 80 mm and weld with a hand welder or the Sarnamatic automatic welder
Where required, Sarnafil protection sheets can be adhered to Sarnafil membranes using Sarnacol 2170.
