Insulation - SarnaTherm
The mandatory requirement for the thermal efficiency of buildings, is set out in “The Building Regulations Approved Documents” - Part L for England and Wales, Part F in Northern Ireland and in “Part J” for Scotland. To help ensure that the requirements of these documents are met, Sarnafil Ltd has published a reference document “A Guide to Part L Compliance” (covering F & J) and markets a comprehensive range of thermal insulation boards under the SarnaTherm brand.

The SarnaTherm range encompasses products suitable for use in adhered, mechanically fastened, loose laid ballasted and SarnaVert green roofing applications and have been tested for compatibility with other Sarnafil roofing components (critical in adhered applications). They meet a wide variety of fire resistance, acoustic and design requirements.

Brought to market through Sarnafil’s unique Branded Product Supply Chain Agreement, with the industry’s major thermal insulation manufacturers specifying SarnaTherm, provides the peace of mind of guaranteed product compatibility without the risk of a splitting the roofing system guarantee liability between the primary waterproofing and thermal insulation manufacturers. All SarnaTherm products are supplied through a network of specialist insulation distributors, enabling Sarnafil Registered Contractors to procure SarnaTherm in the traditional manner, ensuring competitive tendering, but retaining the Sarnafil Extended Products Guarantee.
