Type T

Sarnafelt Type T is a multi purpose 340 g/m² polyester fleece, suitable
for use as cushion/levelling layer, as a barrier layer (when installing Sarnafil G/S or TG/TS membranes
over bituminous based products), or as a filter fleece beneath gravel ballast. Sarnafelt Type
T can also used to separate either expanded or extruded polystyrene thermal insulation boards from Sarnafil
G/S. However, Sarnafil Ltd recommends the use of Glassmat 120 for this application. UV stabilised
Sarnafelt Type T can be left exposed to weathering.
Sarnafelt Type T
is generally loose laid, but can be partially bonded to the substrate with Sarnacol 2170 if required.
In either application, all edges must be overlapped by at least 50mm.
