Rainwater Outlets and Accessories
In many roofing systems, the sealing of the roof waterproofing membrane to the rainwater outlets relies on a clamping ring and a mastic seal.
This means there will be a future maintenance item directly in the water flow. To ensure that the connection between the Sarnafil roofing membrane and the rainwater outlet is as well sealed as the seams in the membrane itself, Sarnafil Ltd provide a wide range of rainwater outlets that are simply hot air welded to the roofing membrane, creating a permanent watertight joint.
Each of the standard Sarnafil outlets has been tested against the requirements of BS EN 1253 (with the Sarnafil leafguard fitted) and eliminate the cold bridging associated with traditional metal rainwater outlets. The Sarnafil Double L range also permits the sealing of the vapour control layer to the outlet body.
