Double L Rainwater Outlets
The thermally insulated Sarnafil Double L Rainwater Outlets have been developed to meet the demands of Building Regulations Part L/J 2002.
In particular, the need to reduce/eliminate thermal bridging through the roof construction and the requirement to reduce air leakage through the roof construction.

The 2 piece construction of the Double L Outlet solves both of these issues, providing a base flange that can be sealed to the vapour control layer with Sarnavap sealing tape, eliminating air leakage around the rainwater outlet, and a thermally insulated body. To complete the installation, the Sarnafil membrane is simply hot air welded onto the welding ring of the Sarnafil G/S outlet or directly to the body of the Sarnafil TG/TS outlet.

Each outlet is provided with a flat rubbish guard (not suitable for long term use as a leafguard) to ensure that construction waste cannot block the rainwater outlet during the roofing programme. Once the roofing programme is complete, the rubbish guard can be removed and either the plastic leaf guard supplied with the outlet or the optional stainless steel leaf guard can be installed. To ensure a satisfactory connection to British Standard rainwater down pipes, a range of flexible rubber couplings have been added to the Sarnafil product range.
