Duoseal UNIVERSAL Refurbishment Outlet Coupling
For many years, one of the most consistent problems in re-roofing has been the need to remove and replace existing rainwater outlets when renewing the waterproofing. In most cases, it is generally impractical to remove the outlet and difficult to create an effective seal into the existing rainwater outlet. While a number of specialist refurbishment rainwater outlets are now available (with metal or rubber compression rings fitted to the bottom of the outlet spigot to provide such a seal), these are often costly and not always compatible with hot air welding to the membrane.

To enable the installation of the Sarnafil range of rigid PVC and FPO rainwater outlets into existing outlets, Sarnafil have developed Duoseal UNIVERSAL Refurbishment Outlet Coupling.

Available in a range of sizes, these couplings are simple to install. The silicone lubricant supplied is applied to the Sarnafil G/S or TG/TS rainwater outlet spigot and the coupling slide over. The outside fins of the coupling are then lubricated with the silicone sealant and the outlet is inserted into the existing rainwater outlet. Once the outlet is secured to the substrate, the Sarnafil roof membrane is hot air welded onto the rainwater outlet flange.
Please note that Sarnafil Ltd ensures a competent person checks the condition and position of any existing rainwater outlet connections, prior to the insertion of the outlet and coupling.
