Modular SarnaLite
The Modular range of SarnaLite rooflights are the first UK rooflights purpose-designed for Sarnafil single ply roofing membranes.
Featuring the unique aluminium SarnaClamp, which clamps and seals the membrane in place, eliminating the need for in place of a mastic seal, and a self adhesive upstand, Modular SarnaLite can be installed in half the time of a traditional rooflight.

Manufactured by Xtralite Ltd for Sarnafil Ltd, Modular SarnaLite rooflights are specified to suit the exact requirements of a project, in almost any size up to 2400mm square. Standard Modular SarnaLite upstand kerbs are either twin walled PVC-U, insulated white painted galvanised steel, or insulated white painted aluminium. Alternatively, the white painted steel AdaptaKerb can be installed onto a site formed timber kerb. This is ideal for refurbishment applications, where it saves removing the existing upstand or damaging the existing light well lining.

Glazing, in various designs (including domes pyramids and north lights), is either single, double or triple skinned high impact resistance polycarbonate. It is supplied clear, bronze tinted or grey tinted, with the option of a diffused internal skin, to provide privacy and/or security. All multi-skinned units are joined with a neoprene strip, to increase thermal performance and reduce condensation risk.
There are a variety of options available, including:
- Natural, permanent or controlled ventilation
- Smoke ventilation, including fail-safe systems and fusible links
- Worm gear or linear motor opening frames
- Hinged access and hinged access with ladder bars
- Vandal resistant grids

In both new and refurbishment roofing, your Local Technical Adviser will provide full technical and specification support (as with any other Sarnafil product). In refurbishment applications, our rooflight partners will provide a full site measurement service.
