Ancillary Components
A single ply roofing system consists of a membrane and a wide range of ancillary components.
The design selection process should include due consideration of a wide range of components, including mechanical fasteners, adhesives, pre-formed details, thermal insulation, vapour control layer, rainwater outlets, fall-arrest anchorage, lightning conductor pads and decorative profiles. Many manufacturers offer these as part of a combined system package. Others provide a list of recommended suppliers.
