Sarnafil Introduces State of the Art Automatic Welding Machine
Sarnamatic
661 Plus The new Sarnamatic 661 plus automatic welding machine
operates at twice the speed of any previous model, providing the potential to reduce on site welding
time by up to 50%. Incorporating an easy to read digital readout, push button selection of membrane
type and an adjustable wheel width enables the machine to weld on a platform 150mm wide.
The
Sarnamatic 661 plus can also be used to weld Sarnafil Decor Profile on a slope up to 25° and across
a 20° slope. All other slopes can be welded by hand.

Sarnamatic 661 Sarnamatic
automatic hot air welding machines are the only welding machines in the world designed specifically
for use with all types of Sarnafil roofing membrane. Incorporating a range of unique features,
including the ability to weld all thickness’ of Sarnafil membrane, the 230 volt Sarnamatic 661 is the
latest generation of this long line of machines.
Incorporating an easy
to read digital readout, push button selection of membrane type and an adjustable wheel width enabling
the machine to weld on a platform a mere 170mm wide, the Sarnamatic 661 will also weld on a slope up
to 25° and across a 20° slope.

Perimat Developed
by Sarnafil in conjunction with Leister, the Perimat has been specifically designed to weld seams at
any angle from 0° to 90°. With a height adjustment of between 80mm and 130mm, it can be used to
weld horizontal seams on both flat and vertical surfaces. Traditionally welded by hand, the Perimat
enables these hot air welded joints to be finished economically and securely, at almost four times the
speed of hand welding.

Triac PID All Sarnafil roofing systems
require the use of a hand held hot air welding tool at some stage during their installation. While
a wide variety of hand held hot air welding equipment is available, Sarnafil Ltd recommends the use
of the Leister Triac PID.
The main benefit of the Triac PID, is the clearly
visible digital display showing the temperature the tool has been set to work at and the actual temperature
at which it is operating. This enables the fitter to ensure the optimum welding temperature is
being maintained and that voltage drop through long cables, or other trades tapping into power supplies,
is not affecting the performance of the Triac PID.
