Sarnafil G410-ELF
Sarnafil G410-ELF is a variation of Sarnafil G410-EL that incorporates a 300 g/m² polyester fleece on the underside.
The addition of this fleece provides an alternative method of adhering, an in-built cushion layer that will hide many surface irregularities and enables the system to be adhered to roofs of practically any shape or configuration. It also fulfils high aesthetic requirements. As with G410-EL, the British Board of Agrément have given Sarnafil G410-ELF a life expectancy “in excess of 30 years”. This assessment is based on the standard 1.2mm thick membrane, but thicker versions of the membrane are available (1.5mm and 1.8mm).
To provide the designer with freedom of expression and the ability to reproduce the appearance of traditional metal roofing systems (by incorporating Sarnafil Decor or Batten Profile), Sarnafil G410 is available coloured Light Grey, Lead Grey, Copper Patina, Copper Brown, Azure Blue and Cream White as standard. Special and custom colours can also be produced, subject to a lead time.
Sarnafil G410-ELF must be adhered directly to the substrate or a suitable thermal insulation board, selected from Sarnafil document Insulation Boards for use with Sarnafil Adhered Systems, with either Sarnacol 2170 or Sarnacol 2142s. Once adhered to the substrate, all overlapping joints will be hot air welded to form a seam stronger than the membrane itself.
