Registered Contractors
The Register of Provisional Contractors
All Sarnafil contractors are initially listed on the Register of Provisional Contractors. Typically remaining on the list for a minimum of 12 months, this is a period of relationship building between the two companies. It enables the contractor to build the core skills required to estimate, procure and install Sarnafil roofing systems profitably while limiting commercial risk. While on the Register of Provisional Contractors, site operatives undergo basic training at the Sarnafil Training School in Norwich and office based staff attend the “Introduction to Sarnafil” presentation. Some contractors choose to remain on the Register of Provisional Contractors, while others seek to move onto the Register of Contractors.
The Register of Contractors
After a period of time as a Provisional Contractor (typically a minimum of 12 months), a contractor becomes eligible to graduate to membership of The Register of Contractors. Assessment of a contractor’s suitability to move to this status is generally based on loyalty to Sarnafil Ltd, the quality of installed workmanship and the financial probity of the company. Very few contractors ever leave The Register of Contractors, as both parties have established a strong long-term profitable commercial relationship.
