Roofing Systems
Sarnafil roofing systems are suitable for application in both new and refurbishment projects.
Each roofing system is designed to optimise specific properties of the specific Sarnafil roofing membrane.
- Adhered Systems utilise either Sarnafil G410 or TG76 membranes, which accommodate movement and the dimensional stability required in these applications.
- Mechanically Fastened Systems utilise either Sarnafil S327 or TS77 membranes, which incorporate a polyester carrier that provides the tensile strength required.
- Loose Laid and Ballasted Systems utilise Sarnafil G476, G410 or TG66 membranes, which provide the dimensional stability requirements of the application.
- Biodiverse Green Roof Systems utilise either Sarnafil G476 or TG66 membranes, which provide a greater thickness than those typically used in adhered or mechanically fastened applications, for increased puncture resistance.
The choice of which membrane and roofing system to use will depend on a number of different criteria, including:
- Budget
- Design life
- Aesthetics
- Environmental considerations
- The finished function of the roof
This is where the knowledge of the local Sarnafil Technical Adviser is an invaluable asset to the specifier, assisting in the selection of the correct system for each application and providing written specifications for contractors to tender against.
