Adhered Systems

Adhered Systems are typically specified for small to medium sized roofs.

For economical reasons, adhered roofing systems are suited to new or refurbishment projects, projects with a high aesthetic requirement and the reproduction of the appearance of traditional systems, such as Lead and Copper.

Other typical reasons for the selection of a adhered system include:

  • Difficult access (such as inner city environments), where the Combination Adhered system excels.
  • Projects that are overlooked, where the aesthetics are a benefit.
  • Projects with a high internal humidity (such as swimming pools and laundries), where fastened penetrations are undesirable.
  • Projects that have a decorative underside, where fastened penetrations are undesirable.
  • Concrete substrates, where the noise caused by drilling is not acceptable (particularly in refurbishment), or the time taken is unacceptable to the programme.
  • Substrates, where it is difficult to achieve a suitable mechanical fastening.
