Benefits of a Green Roof
Virtually every new building takes a piece of the natural green landscape. The planting of a green roof garden replaces a large part of the lost green area, recouping the green footprint and enhancing the local environment. A green roof can also provide a great deal of additional benefits, such as reducing solar radiation by acting as a heat sink and reducing the Albedo effect (Urban Heat Island).
